Growing Boys through a Culture of Service
Cub Scout Pack 606 exists to grow the boys and make a difference in the local community. The Pack plans and executes several types of community service projects throughout the year. These included both conservation projects and service projects. The boy’s learn the value of serving others while also preserving the environment.
Past projects have included: building and installing new bat houses for Alafia State Park, beach cleanups at E.G. Simmons Park, and building butterfly gardens in the PantherTrace Community for World Conservation Day. Service projects have included collecting food for Tampa Bay food pantries, placing American Flags on Veteran’s grave markers, and clearing hiking trails at Masonic Youth Park.
