Pack 220 is one of the oldest, and most activeCub Scout Packs in Chino Hills. Our pack has been around since 1993. Althoughthe number of registered scouts fluctuates annually, we normally have around 50scouts comprising of 4 to 6 dens. We are chartered by the Chino Valley LionsClub, and we meet at Country Springs Elementary School on the last Monday ofeach month, as well as for our individual weekly den meetings. Our Pack hasearned several council and district awards including the Quality Award for thelast several years. Tim Mulqueen is our Cubmaster.

PACK 220 ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

PACK ACTIVITIES are centered on monthly valuesthat originate in the Cub Scout Program Helps booklet. These values areselected and planned to appeal to boys and to offer opportunities for you toachieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Listed below are samplings of thetraditional activities we practice as a Pack. 

These are some of the pack events we havethroughout the year:

PINEWOOD DERBY

Parent/son project where you can build a race carmade from a block of wood. Car must weigh 5 ounces or less and must clear theregulation track. There are a few additional design and race day rules toensure a fun and exciting race. This is a derby you won’t want to miss!

BLUE AND GOLD BANQUET

Our birthday party for Cub Scouting usually heldin late February. This Blue and Gold is a time for us to show our appreciationto the leaders for their efforts and dedication to scouting. We kick off theevening with a potluck dinner and have a fun show for the boys and theirparents to enjoy!

FATHER/SON CAKE BAKE

This event takes place during our March packmeeting. It’s a great way for dad’s to get creative and enjoy some baking timewith their boys. Boys and dads create a themed cake to auction off at ourmeeting, and the best part is that moms get the night off!
