Great Resources for Adults, Too!

Scouting provides great training resources for adults. Scout adults have a wealth of training available about everything from safety to outdoor activities to high level leadership training. And, as with all things in Scouting - the training is enjoyable. Learn in an environment of fun with a purpose.

Here are just a few of the training opportunities:

- Youth Protection Training
- Fast Start Training
- This is Scouting
- BALOO (Basic Adult Leadership Outdoor Orientation)
- OLS (Outdoor Leader Skills)

The Gulf Stream Council annually holds Wood Badge training - Scouting's premier adult leadership training. Wood Badge provides you with excellent leadership skills not only for Scouting, but also for your career and personal life. Find out why so many people call Wood Badge a mountain-top, memorable experience. Learn more at:

You are never alone - there are hundreds of friendly volunteers as well as many professional Scout staff ready to answer your questions or lend a hand. Training resources help you to find and connect with other Scout parents.
