Service in our Community

"A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal,
Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent."

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth points of the Scout Law go hand in hand with one another. Troop 65 reinforces these points through service to our Community. Food drives at area supermarkets, coat drives for the needy, leaf raking, assisting charity events, and clean-ups are examples of service. We are Helpful to the Community, Friendly to our neighbors, Courteous and Kind to all. Community Service is a cornerstone of Scouting, and helps our Scouts mature into responsible, caring adults.
